An FAQ section would be good. Admittedly, it's not out yet so they're not that F but there will be some :)

I like the fiction, I'll read it properly later.

There will be an FAQ section called "The Queen's Regulations" once the rules are released. Until then we have to be a little cagey about specifics, though I have been revealing quite a bit to you good people of Lead Adventure.

Indeed they would, which is why I have two half-written ones in progress.

One of the things we have always wanted to do is involve the players. Having only 22,500 words/64 pages we could only include ten companies in the rules themselves so the rules include a fully-featured points system exactly so players can create their own companies.

We are also writing a guide on how to do that from theme to table which will be on the blog..

On TMP, I'd asked for AAR's and homebrew factions, well, I was beat-to-punch on the AAR's, but requested that all should have some inkling of game mechanics, not, as I said, ''here's the army/fleet/characters; they came together; here's who won; wasn't that kewl?'

Don't attempt to engage my enthusiasm, etc...

I'm getting real cranky at being clueless of how you got there; it's worse when I can see no attempt to toss me a line.

Craig seemed ahead of me there, as well.  lol

Doug

PS I started to get squirrelly when he started using company speak to say exactly what I'd said somewhere else, but it IS his baby. I shall bite my tongue.

Oh Doug, you know that you're my favourite really don't you?  lol

It's hard trying to keep people up to date on multiple fora. Please be assured that a detailed AAR is due to go up on the blog this very day. It includes both some of the mechanics and the character of the game.

I'm interested to know quite what you mean by "...being clueless of how you got there."? Would you like some background details to myself or the development of the rules? Please ask away.

Cheers,
Craig.

Nice AAR but where are the pics?

I'm presuming that the Jagers are using experimental Gewehr 98s (it is 1895 after all)  lol

.............and as for poor old "Major Matthias Cooke 1620-1642, who fell at Naseby in the English Civil War", shame he died on the same ground of that crucial battle a full 3 years before it took place.   lol

OK, OK I know picky, picky, picky.

No piccies I am afraid. This was fought a while ago and my old phone was just not up to it.

The Jagers are indeed using the Gewehr 98's early, the Society of Thule having its fingers in most of the German munitions suppliers.

The Naseby reference was an Easter Egg to see if you guys were paying attention... honest, it was...

Just those game blurbs that don't have actual information of how it works. I'm all for kewl factor, but, as I said, you were ahead of me on promising examples that do explain. Sorry if it sounded like I was complaining about you at that point.

I've been seeing a lot of that on spaceship gaming posts (hello, my name is Doug, and I'm... a vacchead), and challenged Ed of Two Hour Wargames about it. Boy, has he come through!

...and so did you!

Doug
