First Carlist War Scenarios Book
« on: 18 March 2013, 11:37:26 PM »
Hi,

I'm writing a scenarios book with a brief intro about the war and designer's notes for rules adaptations. There will be 23 scenarios with photos, illustrations, maps, OOBs and rules/game suggestions.

Work is still progressing but I hope to have all done by the end of the month/beginning of April. I'll add more information soon(ish).

You can have a preview of the book in my blog: http://kingscarbinepaintshop.blogspot.pt/2013/02/first-carlist-war-scenarios-book.html

Cheers,

Nuno

Looks excellent - the antique pages really look the part.
Which ruleset are you basing it around?

Thanks. The scenarios aren't designed for a particular set but have enough info for you to adapt to your chosen one.

I had a great day at Salute and the book sold very well and had excellent feedback. Here are the details for ordering it directly.

The Beasts of War website has a Salute film.  At about 28 mins into the interviews there's the Perry Mins stand and a shot of the booklet.

Nice publicity.   :)

Really want this 8)   but the cars want some loving  ::) before summer gets into gear so I am putting this on my "very soon" list.   :'(

Don't currently have any miniatures (trying to decide if conversions in 3 mm would work or if I might need a new scale (15/18 mm) - shudder!) but a good set of scenarios might inspire me.

Gracias,

Glenn

I got my copy at Salute, and with a week off afterwards I had time to read through it  :D I now have a few more ideas as to which minis to order first and look forward to trying out some of the scenarios in the (hopefullly) not too distant future. If the rumours of a second book ever come to fruition then I'll be in for a copy of that too.
I'm not a mercenary. Killing's more of a hobby for me.

Hi,

Thanks everyone for the good feedback. I still have 20 copies or so of the booklet if anyone interested missed this thread.

Cheers,

Nuno
