There are 5 basic scenarios in the game

Fracas. Stand up fight

Lost Artifact. Find various objective markers

Blissful Ignorance. has you rescue/capturing various members of the public on the table.

Entrapment. sort of ambush a faction type scenario

Prisoner. Rescue a person of interest (perhaps a historian with special knowledge) from the opposite team. Time limited game

There is a ripper scenario that has civilians in it as well.

The zombies are a special even brought on by the darkfire club. I've seen someone do a zombie apocalypse type game but can't remember if it was EotD or not. It had the various factions entering a a zombie infested table to rescue civilians.

Most likely they are preparing the new one with the requiem release and nearly all the backers will have it so I imagine it will get released in the shop.

There was a PDF for Requiem backers, but also there are new rules coming out for new factions (robots and criminal gangs) and vehicles.

Might also be more scenarios coming - if only for vehicles?

Jack the Ripper is (was) available as a free PDF starter.

The existing 5 scenarios also get 5 different scenery options (sewers, residential, industrial, countryside, forest or botanical garden), so combining the 2 gets you 25 options.
Gary, Glynis, and Alasdair (there are three of us, but we are too mean to have more than one login)

That wasn't very clear lol. Most of the backers will be receiving a pdf copy of the rules as part of the kickstarter so. I would think the pdf would be available when the requiem stuff is released.

Wow hows the new rule?

Actually i have a few questions regarding existing rules

1.  If 1 character has 3 attack it rolls 3 dices for duel and if it wins it only uses 1 dice to roll for wound. Just wondering

would that kind of reduce the effectiveness of the characters attack strength?  I just felt if you have 2 dices that wins the
duel then 2 dices should be use to roll for wound.

2. If i have 2 against 1 in melee does the rules in empire of the dead adds up the number of attacks of the 2 same faction
attacker and roll against that 1 defender?

I doubt the new rules will have existing rules altered. The answers to your questions are in the original rules.

A model with 3 attack dice always uses 3 dice for the wound roll.

In multiple combats each further attacker receives an additional bonus of +1 to their attack dice roll.

Thank you very much. Well actually i saw people playing the ripper scenario and the dice to wound for ripper is always 1 dice
where it uses 3 dices to duel as per the attack of ripper.

I've not read the rules for the Ripper scenario, just the regular EOTD rules. :)

I see hmm then does the actual rules from the rule book have rules for disengaging a melee?

Cause it seems like from the demo games i saw when you are in a melee duel you can only fight till death
and seems like cannot escape.
