Gamma World miniatures?
« on: 31 March 2013, 10:19:02 PM »
I'm looking for information on GW minis. I want to know how many where made? What were the figs?

I know of the following:
1. Pure Strain humans x3
2.mutants x3
3. Cyborgs x3
4. androids x3
5. Gamma World adventure box set
6. Gamma World denizens boxt set

Does anybody know if they made any other figures besides the ones listed?

There is a list of Gamma World figures at http://www.cs.cmu.edu/~tpope/sol/grenadier/gamma-world.html

Hope that helps.

Gracias,

Glenn

Link not posted.

Gracias,

Glenn

Edit:   lol  The prices for Metamorphosis Alpha (preceded Gamma World I believe) are just as crazy!

Gamma World minis were manufactured by both Grenadier and TSR.  The TSR ones are relatively common and not too expensive.  The Grenadier are a little harder to find.  The first four you list are TSR packs, not sure about the boxes.

The boxed sets I believe are Grenadier. I bought them when the figures & the game first came out. They were the Grenadier standard 20 figure sets in the flat square boxes. Still have some of the old figures painted up somewhere.

Most of the Grenadier are pictured on the Lost Minis WIKI - link here. They do tend to go for silly money on ebay  :-[

Doug will have the moulds in storage somewhere so worth dropping him a line see if there's any chance of further casts? (EM4 Miniatures).

Cheers

If anyone knows him could you ask if I could use the pics on the Lost Minis WIKI? I tried via ebay but he doesn't accept questions.

Hell, use them. He won't give a rat's patootie - he is just trying to clear out what he considers dross.
