I had half an hour spare today, so I slapped a bit of paint on the first of my Nazi Vampire troops for a slow burning Hellboy project.

I'm going to do a few different poses and I quite fancy doing one with wings bursting out of the uniform in a kind of 'mid transformation into bat' pose.

They're the 'Blutengel Soldaten' though the Allies will refer to them as 'blutegels' (leeches), then fill them full of silver coated lead

Thanks, I sculpted him myself.

(I already have a small range of sci-fi minis, 'spugs', and fancied doing something a bit different).

Very nice Mini!!
I especially like his squat "Bat Like" face. The bat wings bursting through the uniform sound really cool!
Look forward to seeing more.

Cheers!
I wanted to go for the Nosferatu style- seemed apt for that time period, plus I like my vampires to look hideous, rather than suave and romantic.  :)

Yup, that's one of the masters.

I couldn't wait for a 'production' version, so I painted up a master.
