20mm PSC T-70s Airbrush test
« on: April 20, 2013, 04:12:32 PM »
After getting out the Airbrush for the first time I have some T-70s for Batthegroup Kursk Painted up, I think next time a bigger difference in tone between base colour and highlight is in order.

I added Turret lift rings and a HaT tank commander, Decals from PSC and Military Wheels
Any comments or criticisms are welcome (I've just noticed that the mantlet lift rings are missing on 2 of them)

How do you like using an airbrush? I have often though about getting one but have never used one.

I absolutely love using an airbrush, BUT if you get one - "Be prepared to be prepared" - set up takes about ten minutes as does clean down IF you are prepared, Get a big tub of clean water with a dropper and an old brush for cleaning during spraying and dropping in all of the stripped bits of airbrush when finished before moving on to clean each piece individualy, I highly recommend an airbrush cleaning pot with a built in stand for passing cleaner through an airbrush between colours. I have enjoyed the experience and I don't think i'll EVER hand paint a AFV again  :o

Love'em! Very nicely done sir.
Television is rather a frightening business. But I get all the relaxation I want from my collection of model soldiers. P. Cushing
