Knew nothing of these until the Capt. mentioned them last night. Most interesting plastics for my personal tastes so far, I will keep an eye on their progress and may even dip into some non lead malarky.
Timbor, the moulds have to be cut by following the masters and it is done with a pantograph. By having larger masters it simplifies the operation immensely. It would probably be impossible to use a 28mm figure actually, especially if being done by hand, like all walks of life computers have become prominent. Having said that I once saw a couple of guys in a Chinese factory cutting moulds freehand - no master at all, just reference pictures and they were having to cut the negative image too - absolutely jaw dropping amazing.
