This is, indeed, wonderful stuff. Fusilier Dan took some pics of last week's game (on his blog, here)

http://laststandatcairngorm.blogspot.com/

The big moments for me were -

1) The US marines, although battered by shell and shot from all sides, passed two morale checks (at 33 and 50% losses, because we understand toy soldiers are very brave indeed) and so were not required to test ever again. This led to their single survivor, the captain, charging a unit of Spanish regulars on his own. Alas ---

2) Dan forgot my Canadian mounties were eligible to charge when he showed the flank of his Buffalo soldiers as he manouevred them. It's usually me that makes those sort of mistakes!

3) Dan rolled three dice with an artillery piece at a farm my men were defending, and scored three '6's. We discussed this later, my view being that in a proper toy soldier game we should double casualties as the whole building collapses.
I do all my own stunts

Looks great, I would be a tad wary of those sheep.

But with the help of another group move  :-*

Army Red moved forward in style... leaving some of Army Blue with nothing to do...

This is fun...
Howards rules are card driven so it makes this kind of solo play quit easy

I shall carry on.... :D
