Looks good! I think howard has captured the feel of an Old School game with these rules. As an aside I have to say that the artwork on those playing cards is competing with the artwork on the table top. ;)

Why thank you, Aly and Dan!

The game looks fabulous! Remember to save at least one 'hold card' for that moment when the enemy cavalry moves around your flank and your threatened unit has already acted on this cycle of the cards. You'll want a chance to respond before he piles into you!

If anyone is interested in my WIP rules, "A Gentleman's War", contact me at professorbellbuckle@yahoo.com and I'll send a Word doc.

So....

Red has no 'hold cards' in their own colour...
Blue has a run of good cards...
And dice...
Red favours the number 1 on their dice rolls...

The Royal Scot Greys .... RUN AWAY!!! :o

YES!... I KNOW I AM A BUTTERFLY.

By the end of the move the action is general across the table ...
With much blood (paint... lead...varnish... ) being spilt...

At this point it does not look good for Red...

I like the use of buttons as markers.

I like the use of buttons as markers.

I thought it added to the old world/old school feel I am also going to try and pick up some old fashioned tailors measuring tapes.

All the best   Aly
