Wow! an a amazing "photo finish"  Congrats to those near the top this year....and more importantly to everyone who participated...it was another exciting and inspiring year.  This one was a particular challenge with busy schedule and injury late in the game....these things certainly didn't help my place in the standings...

...but there is always next year!

Great good to all the staff who made this wonderful event happen...and run so smoothly.

Congrats, guys, a great show as usual, thank you for all your efforts and all that fun we had stunning over your entries!

My special thanks to Paul and Ray, they both did LPL possible this year and made it running smoothly again. Appreciate it much, lads!

A big thank you to Overlord, Ray Rivers and of course our host, the Professor.

I found this year particularly challenging, after a very rocky start with my own set of problems, I'm happy how I ended bettering my performance last year. I'd like to thank all my opponents but a special nod to Blackwolf, Curt, Gemgames, Blue, Mike D who gave me incredibly tight races despite how the score ended up either way.
In the end, I find this contest has so many variables, not just from your painting, miniature selection, the scenery used, your photography, and probably most importantly your own time management. That its an incredibly addicting personal challenge.

I'm already working on how I can improve all, (like getting all the dang Bonus points)  so I'll definitely be back next year.

Congrats to the indefatigable  Dr.Mathias for his back to back win and the awe inspiring Chamber of Miniatures. You guys have posted some of my favorites I have seen, ever!.

It was a great pleasure seeing everyone's entries each Sunday afternoon. Everyone did a fantastic job with their painted goodness.

Thanks Ray and Paul for your dedication to the contest. It was appreciated very much.

Hah, looks like I eventually made it to the very top of final results. Didn't expect that.

Apparently I also got 4th highest vote counts by all metrics. It didn't convert to quite as many points due to a few clobberings but thanks to my secret fans anyway.

I may also have stolen that one point from Dr, sorry for that.

Nevertheless, to me the real achievement was again painting about 65 minis in a few short months among all other tasks. It surely reduced nicely the queue of my summer projects. I hope other miners of the leaden mountain accomplished something similar. Oh and plenty of eye candy was by-produced. Many of the entries could have ranked high in a traditional one-off painting contest. Here we got them week after week. Jolly good.

Everything worked nicely and punctually. Many thanks to the organisers for that.

Now I may relax by painting something that doesn't come in sets of five.

It's been quite a few tough weeks and I couldn't really get anymore finished in the end, but still enjoyed this quie a lot! Let's hope next years LPL is a bit more gentle on me
