A little bit of Aden inspiration

Some footage to get those paint brushes working on the new Eureka 1960s British Army.

Routine Adventure. Love the title.

Brilliant footage and that is the first time I've come across colonialfilm.org.uk, I had a quick look through and immediately bookmarked it for future browsing.

Fascinating on so many levels. That original footage is so reminiscent of old documentaries - you half expect Alan Whicker to pop out from behind the next Tel or Djebel.

Also, never seen a Westland Scout as a scout-gunship with fixed weaponry. As I said, fascinating.

Excellent resources, although I now know where Prince Philip gets his material from, "canavas council estate" indeed!  lol

I must have had almost everything shown as a Dinky toy or Airfix model back in the day...  :)
