Egyptian style scenics. Resin 28mm.
« on: 14 May 2013, 10:38:55 AM »
Assuming not everyone here follows the Fantasy gaming forum you may have missed the selection of Egyptian styled scenics on the "Itar's Workshop" KS thread.

The way the KS is set up all the accessory pieces can be bought separately from the dungeon tiles (although they would make great tombs). As part of the KS these are working out at about $1 per piece including shipping in US.
There are also traditional wooden coffins, tombstones, gargoyles, pillars etc for a gothic look.

Itars Workshop also have wonderful Egyptian statues, Tombs, Pyramids and a Temple on their main website:

Naughty Itar's Workshop...

These are Hirst Arts knock offs.
I should know because I have the moulds and I've been casting them up for the past couple of weeks.

Nothing wrong though, they are fully licensed resellers who choose to cast in durable resin rather than soft plaster.

The dungeon set they have on the KS is from the Fieldstone range, They have assembled Hirst blocks and tiles into modular corridor and room wall section masters which are then spin cast in a shatterproof resin compound.

They are not naughty they are producing them by license and have been doing so for years.

Okay. Fair enough.
I wasn't aware that they were licensed re-sellers. I just saw the items in this post and recognised them as the ones I've been recently casting for myself (in resin too).

Cheers

Not especially good castings either, the casts I've done for myself are certainly better.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Can't beat these for the price though.

A Ram headed sphinx figure has been added to the list (available when the $58k stretch goal is met). This one will be a massive $3  ;)

$61k stretch goal has 2 Oriental Dragons on plinths for those whose Pulp is more Fu Manchu than Imhotep
