Chris, that makes you the Blue Nun  ;)

I'd prefer The Black Prince or maybe  The Grey Eminence, but definitely not the Brown Derby  lol

Damn good entries, sebastofig and Orctrader! Especially that Caesar is a quite the mini of the day on LAF for me!

I'm still going down the road to Rome. Another Black tree Design figure and now we knoe (thanks to Redzed) it's sculpted by Richard Ansell. Lovely sculpt but the cast wasn't very good to be honest. Like his face best.

Entry No.73: Early Imperial Roman Aquilifer
btw, Aquilifer was the guy with the eagle standard (aquila), so a very important and much prestigious position within a legion.

Another great BTD Roman, Alex.  Great face.

...Especially that Caesar is a quite the mini of the day on LAF for me!

LAF mini of the day, from the Prof.  I'm honoured.   :)

Lovely entries again, chaps, a real great show!

Here comes the last one of my "damaged lead" program. As I had no roman miniatures myself when we were working on that "Mona Insula" project back then, I'd got some failcasts with a leg missing or some other bad effects from the guys. I did my best to use them all.

From ancient D-Day, here is Marcus "Flatnose" Tiberius on his way to the swampy coast of an unknown hostile land ...

Entry No. 74: Imperial Roman Legionnaire

Manufacturer: Wargames Foundry

The last one of my entries.
But the finished vignettes will follow promptly.
 :)

"Man in swamp" from the Admiral.  Really works for me.  Very effective.  Looking forward to the vignette.   :)

That figure in water is gorgeous and what a brilliant way of making use of him.  And your vignette is very moving.
