IHMN - British officers and specialists
« on: 26 May 2013, 07:48:39 PM »
I bought a pack of spartan games British line infantry for Dystopian legions. They are really nice.  I just needan officer, saergent, medic, rocket gun firer that kind of stuff now.

Spartan do have a good looking flamethrower guy I may use as a rocket guy?
and an officer in an armoured wheelchair!

What other ranges are available I could pinch some figures from?  28mm of course.

How do they scale up against Northstar/West Wind etc - as they are nearer 35mm in scale

Opinions vary :)

I got given a Spartan figure and wouldn't use it with any of my 28mm stuff, even the larger ones. I just gave it away again.

For figures to match with the Spartan ones, have a look at the Reaper Chronoscope range. There are a few Colonial/Steampunky figures in there and they are certainly on the larger end.
So many projects..... so little time.......

Dystopian Legions comparison pics

There are stacks of figures in the Chronoscope range, all of which are on the larger side. Probably Black Scorpion Cowboy size. Here's a few examples though, there are loads of wild west, steampunk etc beyond this.

The Bob Olley British Soldiers and Zulus are huge 31mm or so. Some of the cowboys and steampunk figures are more 28mm. It depends on the sculptor.

Yeah, I have the reaper Zulus, and they're pretty spot on for the DL minis. I'm already planning to use them in a scenario.  The other Chronoscope British Infantry are close too.

I haven't gone outwith Reaper yet for other minis to use with these guys, but I have some Victoria Minis parts, and they seem to scale pretty well, if not a bit chunkier than the Spartan minis.
