I was reading about the terror villain Belmohktar and found a rather unbeliavable statement:

Honestly, it's the Daily Mail - even if you sentenced their whole staff to work the salt mines, it would take years for them to produce an amount of grain sufficient to offset an average Daily Mail article.

Wasn't there a murderous dwarf in the first Flashman novel?

If you wanted to model him, the only description I know to is "At the head of the line was a dwarf, wearing a canvas hood and a scarf covering his face. He had a large knife in one hand and an axe in the other".

There was a made for TV movie a while ago about it, "Zero Dark Shorty", or something like that...

There's always a distinct prospect, as with anything in the Daily Mail, that it has been mis-translated from the original German. That archaic, pre-war German script combined with seventy year old yellowing newsprint can be quite tricky to decipher.

Let's wait for the film. Hopefully they will cast Bridget Powers (AKA Bridget the Midget) as his paramour.

I also wish to add an interesting fact about the Philipine film industry getting a major boost in equipment and staff when Coppola left the country in a hurry after finishing Apocalypse now.
