All Terrain Half Track (Trash Bash 2013) Lots of pics

This is the complete building process for mi entry in the Trash Bash 2013 contest:

First step: find a computer mouse, this was the one I choice:


Whit the mouse in my hands, I start to thought what can I do whit that. Finally I decide to create something in WWW II style, and 1/35 scale.


The first thing I done was remove the upper cassing of the mouse. It looks too much like a ...well...like a computer mouse, and mi idea was hide this shape as much as I can. I add in the nose a car air freshener casing to create the turret, and I start to add the track wheels and some details.

And a completely scratchbuilding HMG, to insert in the turret:

I add some "Weird War" details in the figures:


And the Half Track start to look like this:


But still needing mudguards (paper fasteners)


Adding some putty, and wheels from a toy:


Black priming:


And paint:

Amazing work Diego!! I (stupidly) thought it was kit bashed from a lot of different 1:35 models when I first seen it, it was that good! It's amazing what you can do with a couple of airfreshners!!
