I'd never have recognized the alien but the Argonauts look great.  :)  That's some nice looking scenery in the back ground too.

Where on Earth did you find a model Hallucigenia?

Great stuff. Can I ask, what paints and colours do you use to get that desert effect on the bases?

the bases for along time I use a sand fine and hard gravel mix  applied using PVA glue let is set then paint with  wilco match pots coffie test pot there a £1 now i think, let it dry hard then dry brush with a cream to high light  light sand color will also do the same job, , then  dot some PVa and static grass, I bought a huge bag of  Kalistrra . the edge of the base line if wanted a run a spearshaft round to finish it off. I do apply some static grass clusters if needed but find  the  one static grass is  good.

The Wilkos paint test pots will go on any thing  like buildngs or MDF amd on sand bases work fine

Ah cool, thanks. I didn't think to just dry brush straight over the sand with cream. I've been starting with a dark brown and working up, but that always finishes pretty dark. That being said, I usually apply the sand then prime the entire thing black, so that probably wont help get the lighter cream look.

I can fully attest to the brilliance of the Wilkos £1 tester pots.

Sorry, a bit late to join the party, but these guys look great! I love the Fiundry Argonaut range, and really need to pick some up and get started.

Where on Earth did you find a model Hallucigenia?
The Hallucigenia is from Space Vixens From Mars's "Rim Alien" range:
Nasty Big Alien Monster #1

They also have a giant Opabinia:
