Old West town examples
« on: 19 June 2013, 11:57:37 PM »
In light of recent questions here regarding outhouses and such I put up some maps and illustrations from 1884 of an "Old West" town that I had to put together for a work project anyway.

A classic false front busy main street with a mix of saloons and regular businesses sitting between two blocks of china town and the redlight district to the west and the more respectable part of town to the east.

Good stuff...and sadly you can already see where the origin of the strip-mall comes from... lol
