Sublime all of them this was one of my favourites from the LPL. Great work and the vehicles are brilliantly done.

What a really nostalgic army  :-*
I'm a big fan of G.I. Joes (I collect the vintage toys too) and especially COBRA, so sure I enjoy your superlative work.
The Cobra Commander is perfect, I'm impressed about your work on the chrome visor.
I've painted a Cobra Commander miniature too, and I was considering to create a little force of cobra, but never do it because first I must give priority to other paint jobs.

Lovely memories here I do remember my fouvourite GI Joe was the comic: G.I. Joe #100 "Seeds of Empire" which had a double cover spread in which Cobra Commander, says after taking over a small American town that he is "as American as apple pie and Mother Hood! I believe in free enterprise, because that's the American way!" Be great to play a game in which Cobra Commander and his forces have to seize a town and have to take certain key objectives like the radio station. I also have fond memories of playing with the action figures. At any rate keep it up and what rules are you using?

Amazing work D@rth J@ymZ!

May I ask, what did you use to build the turret on the Rattler? I'm building up one myself and looking around for what could work.
Did you build it so that the wings pivot for VTOL? I think I'm drawing the line there. :D

Sorry for the threadromancy, but I noticed that I hadn't ever replied to these earlier messages... ::)

At any rate keep it up and what rules are you using?

I prefer skirmish rules, so have been using the Strange Aeons and VUK rulesets from Uncle Mike's Worldwide.

The Rattler turret is actually a clear cap from a hairspray bottle (stolen from my wife haha).  The gun was a part of the Bell helicopter kit I used for the Trouble Bubble.  The turret rotates within the fuselage, I just cut a hole to fit the cap (very carefully, of course!).

No, unfortunately the Rattler wings do not rotate for VTOL, I never considered it at the time and was pressed for time with it being an LPL entry. ;)
Now you see that evil will always triumph because good is dumb...
