Sorry about that, I presume you ended up with at least one 'Angry Pymgy'?  ;)

Mostly Askari and Zanzibaris with a few Stout chaps thrown in for good measure.  :)

I'll be a few days late. Infant, end of semester, holidays, and waiting on a book did me in :)

I'll have to really put my nose to the grindstone if I want to end the project the way I intended!

well, sometimes the month has to be a bit elastic  ;)
important thing is to keep rolling

however, January I will take a break from khaki and do something different for a change

Well I fell flat in November. Kept putting it off, waiting to order some cavelry figures. Still haven't gotten that order in. I do have some gun crews of French sailors plus some African gunboat crews on the table now. I will also get the command figures primed & painted this month. Should have them done in the next week or two. Plan to bloody them against the Maudi in the south west Sudan in January at "Drumbeat".

I managed to get the fourth unit of 24 finished in November and posted pics last night.  I'm going to park the project for a month or so, paint a few totally different projects and look at painting the last unit unit a different color scheme.  I know it's not exactly historically accurate for Rorke's drift but I like the way the 60th Rifles look.

Hi Army Painters
whazzup?

I understand we are busy with other painting competitions, or whatever...
so, are we calling it a year or shall we set another date for continuation/reboot? after LPL?
What say You?

Quite a few people dropped out of this one before the 'end date'. I still wanted to add a unit per month, the LPL might bite into that.

so, what do we do? do we softly and suddenly vanish away?
do we reboot after LPL?

I for my part am seeing light at the end of the tunnel - I plan to somehow finish with the figures until Camerone day  :D
I have one unit prepped and started and three others planned.
possibly an upgrade for one of the finished units and one additional depending on ceratin lucky outcome
and of course the vehicles.... so still a lot to do...

Still working away at mine, but not w/ any real push. A couple factions have been commissioned out, so I may just see the end of my Celtic Myth after all!

In other words, I'm in, again! ::)
