Back from the annual holiday in the West of Britannia (where bronzing oil was essential) The house of Malamutius Calvus has invested in its first Gladiator, Astinax the Myrmillo:

Astinax is a 40mm Battle Honours figure and will soon be competing in the arena against Gladiators from the House of Bibbles The Flos using Furt's new Blood on the Sands rules. An AAR of our first encounter will follow soon.

Lovely! I always thought Battle Honours' gladiators looked a little skinny and stretched but that myrmillo looks the business

Awesome paint job Malamutius! Waiting for the AAR.
Although I always liked Gladiators I thought Gladiator fighting must be pretty boring.But with the rules of Furt it seems I might be wrong.

When I did a little digging, I git the following for Flos:
flora, floral, floret, floriculture, florid, floriferous, floriform, florist, floruit, flourish, inflorescence.
