I'm running a a summer campaign at my FLGS that I thought might interest people here. It's a loose mash up of movies like 300, mythology and a little actual history, so that it appeals to a fairly broad number of people. I'm hoping to get a few of the younger players interested in it now that the school holidays are starting.
We're using the Song of Blades and heroes rules and I've made army lists for Greeks, Persians, Celts and Egyptians. We've played about a dozen games so far and it seems to be working well. There's also a list of miniaturesthat I thought were nice for this sort of thing, which might be handy for anyone looking to do something like this. It's not exhaustive but it might be helpful especially if you're on a budget.
