Thank you so much for the shingle tip too! On my previous efforts, all my shingles have been hand-painted and hand cut basswood strips. http://www.wildwestmodels.com/Welcome.html seems like a godsend!

Fantastic! Your angles and precision is outstanding. The structures work and look just like real buildings. Do you have an architect or a builders eye? Not just the one, but two trained by a lifetime of work?  lol

Smashing work.

Did lots of accessories in the meantime. You can't have enough of this stuff on a farm (and church ...), can you?

I've got the brilliant mobile forge cart from Westfalia Miniatures to use the forge parts and equipment for my farm forge. The very nice wagon will find a place on the AWI table as well. Very fine castings with lots of details and a bit tricky to glue together, but I like them very much.

http://westfaliaminiatures.com/product_france_utility.html

The little graveyard for the church was also finished, and some more close ups of the crates and barrels from a broad variety of manufacturers. It definitely pays off to have a big mould to cast all these items when you're into terrain building ...

Last but not least - when I visited the Prof. recently I was impressed by his nice paint storage racks, so after 40+ years of modelling and painting I bought my own to store all the paints properly. Below the Ral Partha treasury, above everything else. Do you need so many paints? Well, if I consider that I painted for years with only 6 or 7 large bottles of Lukas acrylics, not really. But it looks good and saves time, doesn't it?

 :D

Can you tell me where all the accesories are from, Michael?

I recognize some Renedra barrels, but where does the rest come from? Pardulon and Stronghold? I'll also need a lot of this stuff for our tables in november.

Hhm, can't tell you exactly, I'm collecting this stuff for quite some years. But as you mention, Pardulon and Stronghold Terrain are a good start, then Hovels, Antenocitis Workshop, Itar's workshop (http://www.itarsworkshop.com/catalog/index.php), Micro Art Studio (http://www.microartstudio.com/index.php/news,,5) and so on.
