Your patch is great.  Please tell me about the pumpkin patch.

That's quickly told...

Pumpkins
More stuff

Simply highlighted with paint and glued to a sandy piece of cloth. Note that they're H0 so a bit small compared to all other vegetation there. They count as early summer produce. I also have a set of slightly larger metal pumpkins here somewhere, unpainted. Whose were they? Fantascene? However, they have no leaves and in this case lightweight plastics have proved more durable for repeated packing, unpacking and playing.

Thanks for the rundown Dolmot, much appreciated. I might have to check out those JR buildings.

They're worth a quick glance, at least. Just to warn you, the castings I've received and observed in person have been a bit...imperfect. Extra blobs, holes, missing corners and so on. I think JR was supposed to close and the range was recently sold to someone. Maybe they can come up with better moulds and casting, who knows. Please inform me if you've heard any hot news.

Magister Militum still have the JR range in stock on their website. They are however pretty expensive, especially if there are issues with casting quality. I have a few similar Hovels buildings and although they are on the small side the casting quality is pretty good.
