DIES IRAE (New Crowdfunding for 1650) - 2nd GOAL ACHIEVED!

I almost never bother (this is only the second campaign I've ever signed on to).

The only reason I went for this one is that it came right after their first one, which went off flawlessly and because about 60% of my purchases were simply discounted purchases of minis that were regular, preexisting stock.

They had a great record before.

I mean, I'm mostly sure we'll all get our minis eventually - there has to come a point where even they figure out what they have to do, even if it's the hard way. But watching them crawl towards the incredibly obvious answer is so painful.

Well now I know why they're stuck so hard on VRM.

Because VRM has the new greens. And part of their money.

VRM has resurfaced and is now promising Tercio that the minis will be cast by the end of February. I guess we'll see...

Still trundling along here. For those not in the know, VRM strung things out further until summer, when Tercio finally did break down and contract a large portion of the work out to a different caster, though VRM did wind up doing SOME work and have shipped some finished goods to the Tercio staff already. The last shipments of miniatures are due from both casters for early October, so we shall see.

Still hoping to get these beautiful minis someday.

WOW!

Well, finally, after a very long journey indeed, I have received my miniatures (minus one minor miniature missing but I've emailed about that). And they really are as beautiful as they look online.

The new resin from the new caster is slightly inferior to the old stuff, but it's vastly better than not getting the figures at all.

If anyone here is still waiting on their minis - email about it!

Talk about a long journey! But it came off in the end!
