some of you may remember one of my many terrain projects the modern middle east city.
the boards were 2 sizes, 4 900x900mm and 2 900x600mm, enough to cover one of the clubs 8ftx4ft tables and they looked like this:-
the boards are 3mm mdf with 35mm batons all nailed together with my air brad nailer, much quicker an easier than screws or nails and a hammer.
the pavements are mainly kids toy ones i managed to get a load off ebay, and also a games forum member said he had some as well,
with a few resin versions.
we progress has been made over the last few months and the road system is now finished and marked up:-
there are 3 'T' junctions and 1 roundabout and all the roads are dual carriageways with a large central reserve.
the central reserve has some large plant holders on them with holes for the removable trees.
the road markings were done with a paint pen so i could easily get straight lines on the roadway, not easily done with a paint brush.
of course they all drive on the right in this city.
more pics when the buildings are done and we have our first game
thanks
