planet of the apes in 28mm?

I heard that eureka had 'apes with guns' but they didn't want to fight a cease and desist letter so shelved them.
I saw the 40mm line as well.   Are there any options to building a 28mm planet of the apes force?

Both Ainsty and Crooked Dice do suitable Astronaut Miniatures, Ainsty just in Jump Suits, Crooked Dice in Space Suits.

The Eureka ones are in Boiler Suits, so i wasn't sure whether you would want them first or not.

Crooked do Ape Heads and Minions in Jump Suits, so it's obvious what I've done

Yeah that's the thread which inspired me to find some apes.  It really captured my imagination.
