True!
A stock that has grown over 500% over five years, and that steadily, must be a typical example of them not knowing anything...

As has been said before: If you dig a little deeper, the picture isn't so pretty.

I encourage you to look for more information if that sort of thing interests you.

As to this discussion, it is largely pointless and likely to lead to less than cordial words, so this is the only thing I'll be saying on the matter.

On the topic of the models: I'll hold a wait and see attitude on them.  I'm leaning towards disliking them, but I will wait until GW at least puts up the 360° view before I make my final decision.

Thanks for the update on this exciting new release. Plenty of nice flat areas for freehand painting. But i would really like to see a scale comparison with that empire citizen running away before I shell out my 50 quid.

By the Emperor's Undergarments, those are a serious disappointment. I was worried when I read about a new unit to fill the gap between Terminators and Dreadnoughts (NO-FRICKIN-BODY COMPLAINED THAT THERE WAS A GAP), but those are... poor, to be polite.

WEARING MY GLOBAL MOD HAT AND ACTING ALL FUN-SPOILING-LIKE: As GW has recently been cracking down on sites showing "leaked" images (and in Germany, this can get expensive due to lawyer's fees), I must remind everyone NOT TO POST ANY COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL, especially (but not limited to) current publications, paper or electronic.

Sorry Chris,  conversion to link is fine. Best they not see light of day hear again,  I'm sure they curdled my milk this morning with their vileness.  ;)

Everytime they do something like this I'm glad I stopped 40K back when 3rd came out.
Far less active than I used to...

They remind me of the MB Space Crusade marines.

Yes! This was my first impression. The steroid abusing bastard offspring of  lumpy plastic Space Crusade marines and a Happy Meal freebie.

I like how they seem to be inventing their own market research with the 'gap between terminator and dreadnought' thing! I think there's now a gap between dreadnought and land raider that needs plugging.

 I'll get a few I'm sure.
I really hate the look of the weapons so will probably convert them off the model and hopefully will be able to make  more dynamic poses somehow.
Funny thing is I see models announced for release on here everyday that I look at and think how truly hideous they look or what a crap subject for minis they are but people will come on the thread and say they are sooo nice or they have been waiting for some of these.I'm happy for both the producer and consumer.
Its all subjective dudes :)

Those weapons are the living worst. Otherwise with better reposing and paintjobs that are a bit less Saturday Morning Cartoon these might be salvageable.

A cross between Bumblebee (Transfomers) and Voltron? Maybe they're after the Japan mecha fans?

I doubt it. The Japanese tend to have way better taste...

Like I posted over on Frothers, just a short hop away from this.

I do wonder in all seriousness, how long it is before we actually get:

" My first Space Marine "

I do think that this proves that their target audience is certainly getting younger by the year.
Pre-school inflatible Spaaaace Marines will be out very soon!

I do wonder in all seriousness, how long it is before we actually get:

" My first Space Marine "

Great minds, sir?

My first thought was "who let Michael Bay into the sculpting studio..."

GW free for a while now, and still looks like a fantastic choice.  I will say though, they know their demographic and they'll likely sell plenty, especially with "these are better than anything in your army...until next month" rules they'll receive.

The prices are absurd to the point of laughter.  lol

Modedit: Visit http://dezzoblog.files.wordpress.com and look for the ridiculous Space Marine ExoArmour Toy Thingies...

Words fail me...... :o

You know, nobody ever thinks I am anything but critical about GW but... must we go down this road again?  Let the bastards make their pathetic games/rules/miniatures/whatever and let discerning war gamers make their own good/bad/both/neither choices, okay?

Gracias,

Glenn
