SAW and VSF settings

Rather than upset some by threadomancy   (or whatever it is called) I will not add to http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=13458.0 but start a new thread which undoubtedly upset others.      

I am looking to see if I missed any good historical SAW (Spanish-American War) rules that can have VSF bolted on.  

I have Rough Riders and another set whose name slips my Swiss Cheese memory currently but any suggestions are welcome.  

Scale of conflict would be platoon to brigade sized forces depending on scenario.

I have several VSF rules so I am looking (as always) for historical rules to modify/abuse for VSF.

Edit:  Other rules are Splendid Little War IIRC.  Or that may be another name for Rough Riders.  I will check when I get home.
