No, really...its safe
« on: 10 August 2013, 07:49:53 PM »
Ok, so this didn't turn out exactly as I planned.  I realize there are a number of flaws, but I really wanted some kind of crazy, rocket artillery for my Chinese Warlord army after seeing all the pictures posted with fireworks factories in games on this forum.  Now I know what I should have done differently and may create another at some to point to get it right, however, this is what I have for now. It also needed some form of transportation that would act a dual role of limber and supply cart and it had to be pulled by Bactrian camels.  For game purposes, I plan on it being fairly cheap to purchase with moderate destructive capability, but with a chance of misfiring/exploding or a deviation to hit one's own troops to justify a lower unit cost.  If the links work, I've provided the pictures to show the inspiration for the cart.  Hope you enjoy viewing it as much as I enjoyed building it.

That's fantastic :-* wonderful idea and brilliant execution  :-*.  My only criticism would be the rockets look a bit like a box of crayons with all the different head colours and I think would be better all the same

You need to get the image as a .jpg in the url. Then you can add the IMG tags. For example, in Flickr I clicked on one of the images in your gallery, then I right clicked to get the "view all sizes" pop up and selected "medium" (or whatever size you want) and then right clicked again to "View Image" and then added the image tags:

Awesome conversion!

von Lucky,

Thank you for that tip.  I worked for almost thirty minutes with that stupid Flickr account trying to find the path to the actual jpeg files.  All good now.  Thanks all for the compliments.

Crayons??  Darn, I didn't see that before.  I wanted it to appear they were using rockets from a variety of sources...but it didn't turn out like I originally intended.
