Doc

Inspiring stuff.  My Brits arrived a couple of days ago, but the office is stacked floor to ceiling with envelopes at the moment.  I am looking forward to opening up the package once all the rules have been despatched.  Not long to go now!

I pick up the first 1500 copies in four hours time.  Then it's a frantic two days of packaging and posting.

My oldest daughter is back from Uni and is on about dragging me to the gym this morning.  I won't need the gym when I have shifted fifty boxes of rules!  The weight of dead trees is unbelievable.

Counting the days until my CoC copy will arrive I am painting Bersaglieri like a maniac. Here a quick shot of my 2nd squad:

Nice! Really like the face of the guy on the extreme right. Looking forward to more!

Edit: Extreme right was an unintentional pun...

And here's the third contributor to this madness! :)

My Poms (I spent last week on a business trip with a South African colleague! :D ) were also painted rather quickly. I used the paints suggested by the Artizan painting guide, while also adding Foundry Base Sand for the Khaki Drill uniform. The miniatures were then covered with the Army Painter soft and strong tone dip and then further highlights were applied. Now I am all ecstatic about all the other projects I could do using this technique, as I am quite happy with the result.

At the moment I have a Bren team on my table and the second squad is also in the works. This will be distinguished by the fact that these chaps will be carrying their backpacks.

And of course here is the obligatory photoshopped version of my picture above! :)

Lovely work the two of you! :-*
I really love the variety in uniform colour with the Hazel brits :)

Even though they are ghost in the last pic. Not casting a single shadow when the sun is at their back ;)

Thank you, Silversixx. Although it's the three of us. Doc Morris and I are both painting Brits.

Ghosts? Darn, should have posted this to the Weird World War 2! :) :D
