Good spot. I must admit with the 'Empire in civil war' timeline I'd hoped they might have released some of the Mordheim Reiklanders/Middenheimers/Marienburgers/etc as 'flavor figures' to help give the armies some more provincial flavour
That's exactly what I've been hoping would happen at some point and feels like it would make sense that instead of sculpting new stuff for all (major) actors of civil war they'd use what they already have lying around. I've got a feeling they'd sell like hot cakes. Wouldn't say no to buying a whole set of ostlanders just to get those I'm missing, either. Lovely sculpts those. Of course better to keep hopes low of any major Mordheim minis surge, this is GW we're talking about here....

I'm guessing centigor will be MTO only (would be a nice surprise if it wasn't) but it's still promising to see GW  are willing to utilize minis from Mordheim range if it suits their purposes.

I have a large Thousand Sons (collection of unopened boxes  lol ). Not sure what to make of the robots, don?t like the paint scheme, probably will be fine when painted differently.

The Cathay!!! Wow. After waiting what, 20 years? for them? It?s worth it. 100% going to buy some of them.

Space Wolves are a decent refresh, they never do wrong by them (well maybe the sky-wolf-chariot).

I only now noticed that the Blood Claws are in firstborn armour, and the Grey Hunters and above are all in Primaris armour. This might well be the last MK6/7 kit GW will ever release...
Miniatures you say? Well I too, like to live dangerously...

Are you sure? they look like they're in primaris armour to me - they have the tell tale nodules at the ankle and double thickness breastplate.

Meh, looks like you're right.  :?

I was going by the kneepads, since none of them have the extra lip protruding from the top. And then there's the Mk6 and Mk4 helmets (all making them look like 'proper' space marine armour  ;) ).

The ankle joints could be passed off as Mk8, but the extra plates on the thighs and the chests are too much of a tell; they're Primaris after all.

And they call Horus' powergrab a heresy...

Harumph! That stoopid chariot, the new wulfen and the wolf riders, do not exist in my mind, just like bloody Aliens 3  and Terminator 3 >:D lol

I do feel sorry for the poor shop staff. They are going to have to pretend "that's the first time I've heard that one" a lot today lol

But yes, made me chuckle :D

Hahaha that's quite funny. The thing is I'm sure it would actually sell, lol. "Look at me, I'm a Space Marine"
Biggest thing for me in the whole preview is Mordheim centigor being released for Old World beastmen. Since dropping Mordheim this is the first time GW brings any miniature back from that range, no MTO's have ever included any, I believe?
Perhaps there will be more Mordheim stuff reappearing in the future, I surely hope so.
I hope they bring back the Thing in the Woods.
It's a part of Total War Warhammer 3 so it may come back, you never know.

Wow, GW is nuts. Pre-orders were sold out 5 minutes after 2200hrs on one site. I had to have two independent shops open to get the Emperor’s Children stuff I wanted.

Bonkers.

It’s now … sometime later.

I’ve decided to return ALL  my GW purchases this year.
