Do you have a photo you could post? I am thinking about buying one, it looks fantastic but the picture on the website is not very good.

A few updates to come. Have been working on various projects, a little bit here, a little bit there, flitting between whatever I feel like working on at the moment, not concentrating on any one item as the mood hits. Each little advance not really worth posting about individually and suddenly a few months pass and you realize that there has been progress.
This is going to a pulp shipyard post.

Subs:
Primed only using gesso.

A larger sub. The conning tower comes off so it can be used elsewhere and for storage. Will eventually have an ice base showing it breaking through. Hull size is not accurate as it is game piece. Work has stopped as I can't find my chicken wire which I was going to use to make the back railing.

Launch:
Total inspirational credit goes to Amalric and Mad Lord Snapcase for their wonderful ships.

I use runny (regular) superglue along the exposed edges on the illustration board. This hardens and seals the edge which prevents fraying and allows me the lightly sand it if needed.

Sailboat:
The insides; not pretty but robust.

Trying to decide between a short or long cabin.

Also started some jungle savanna island type trees.

Some quick trees not representing any known species insired from here: http://infinitythegame.com/forum/index.php?/topic/23337-quick-trees/

Quick tutorial steps from left to right.
Glue wooden golf tees to hardboard base (with bevelled edges). Some cut down to different heights before glueing.
Once dried in place, cover golf tee with hot glue for texture (right most tee on first base).
Cover with brown craft paint, dry brush a lighter tan colour, give a dark brown wash.
Drill holes with pin vice and stick branches in with superglue. Two rows of 3 stalks gives a nice lush top at least for these plastic branches.
Branches taken from cheap dollar store plants and cut into individual stalks.

Flock base (still need to do this as I haven't finalized choice for my game matt color)

Bamboo stands:

Cut out hardboard bases, glue together if want more height.
Cover with drywall/wood glue/sawdust mixture. dry completely overnight.
Bamboo ordered from China on EvilBay. Good prices. Cut to different lengths and use short cutoffs to represent new growth.
Drill holes in base, superglue bamboo stalks in place.
Flock base (still need to do this)
Will likely shoot it with some dullcoat too.

Did I forget to mention the modular sub pen/bunker I put together? Waiting for a warm dry day to spray prime it.

Some configurations with the high wall sections.

Some low walled areas with narrow corridors.

And it is compatible with my LV426 project.

and it all fits in a photocopy paper box (if I don't add to it too much).
