West Wind US Infantry - Secrets of the Third Reich!
« on: 13 May 2008, 09:50:36 AM »
Quick question, am thinking about buying the US command group but could anybody tell me what they are armed with?
Cannot tell, they look like carbines but are they supposed to be some new weapon?

cheers

Thanks, I am not sure whether to go for the West Wind figures or some pure historic figures!

I am currently working on some US models from SOTR. The command squad is especially nice. Everyone except the medic and officer are carrying garand's. Officer has a Thompson. Hope this helps. The SOTR stuff is gorgeous. I currently own all the available German and US infantry, and I haven't been disappointed with them. Cheers.

With a decent 'razor saw', a drop of superglue (well maybe a drill and a pin, too ;-) ) and a tiny amount of greenstuff, I think you'd be fine :-)

I've been fiddling around with swapping hands on some of my LotR figs, and it's just amazing how easy 'swap-conversions' are when using the right tools. I was amazed, anyway, as I'm really not a 'modeller', but was quite satisfied with the results (and I'm a hard man to please, as i have a strain of perfectionism in me)....
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

Are their any reliable webstores in the US that carry Secrets?  I checked out WarWeb which is associated with West Wind, however they don't seem to have any SoTR.
