Medusa's Garden
« on: 30 August 2013, 10:31:29 PM »
What do you do with half a box of broken Victrix plastic Athenians?  If you said make centaurs and broken statues, then you'd be right.  I've already shown the centaur in a previous post, here is Medusa's garden.  Failed attempts of Greek heroes trying to claim Medusa's head. C and C always welcome.

Thank you all for your comments.  I have to say it was very fun to put the figures together.  My favorite one is the soldier who dropped his sword and was trying to block his eyes too late.

Gorgeous! I've always thought it would be fun to do something similar, but never had the heart to relegate what could be "living, breathing" figures to a terrain piece (silly, I know, some hang-up from younger days).  Next box of hoplites I get, I'll be sure to do a few up as victims.

I've been planning a similar piece of terrain using some old Spartan Games 40mm Greeks.

I'll get around to it one day.
