Ah Peder, you are such a comedian  :)

You never let us get too serious round here!

Great little vignette.

That's a handsome crusading knight too, Stephen :)

Must finish the basing on my next one...  ::)

No. 46 - Sir Leopold von Sudetten

The first son of Baron Jakob von Sudetten rides with his father in the same unit of my fictional medieval knights army.  Again, an old Citadel miniature.  When I first received the figure, the horse didn't look right, then I realized that there were no reigns!  A sheet of paper, scissors and some paint later, problem solved.  Painted the same time as my other knight, he suffers the same shinny problem :(

Talking of keeping the faith...

No. 48 - Garnier de Nablus, master of the Hospitallers, Palestine c.1191

Another Perry, but with some judicious work on his helm with green stuff and trimming of his shield.

Michi, I have to ask: Where is that Norman from.
I love that pose.

Sorry, I don´t know, I bought him here in the bazaar from Wayswatcher. Maybe he can answer your question.
You are right, the pose is so relaxed and challenging, arrogant and superior that he simply had to be my warlord, even though he was meant to be an ordinary warrior. I really like him too.

Lovely work so far, Meier. Are you going to list them properly once they are based etc?

When I can get to basing them...

I have so many, and I don't actually base until I finish an army.

:(

So many things to do and only one lifetime to do it all in... LOL

No 51 - Landsknecht c1525

Extending the Medieval 'timeframe' for this board has enabled me to paint up another casting that's been lying around. This is Michael Perry's first sculpt with his left hand from many years ago. I've just realised looking at this picture that the face is a bit of a likeness to Michael? Got it from ebay and stripped it back for a repaint this afternoon (not sure that grass has dried yet!).

Glorious parade of medieval types chaps...really enjoying this..getting addictive (but can't keep up with Capt Blood's stupendous output!)..

Simon.

BTW - my last figure was an Empire Miniatures casting, purchased from Australia several years ago, in case any one wondered...

Beautiful, loving the life in that face. The quality of all the entries makes this an Order of Honour.

Thanks for the answer, Michi.
Will either have to bother Wayswatcher or have a go at a conversion, methinks.
You are right, that pose is so casual, it has to be done.

More great entries.
The gnahers on that Looter are worth an entry all by themselves!

No. 52 Templar, 1st Crusade

A Crusader Miniatures Viking, painted as a early Templar, propably using his granddads helmet and sword. Sorry for the historical inaccuracy, but this was the only medieval mini I had laying around...
But I have a bunch of Fireforge Teutonics on order, which I will use for a new Saga warband! All thanks to this great thread and you  :D
