These Normans of yours are really inspiring me to get some paint on my own figures.
Although mine will not be strictly 'Normans', the figures are very similar.
 

Yes it really helps with those clumsy gamers that tend to lean over the table and squash your figures under hand!

That'll learn the clumsy buggers!
A steel spike in the palm should do the trick, if nothing else does!

Well, that's how I painted him.   

Hasslefree miniature from the "Village Kiddies" Pack.  These are small/tiny figures.  That's a 20mm round base.

I had that little bugger and gave him away as I knew that I could never do the tiny fella justice.
