Paint Brush is in full gear here.......another of my current Dark Ages project War band. all the usual, all painted...

Thanks for looking and the chance to share the spotlight with all the great minis in this thread....inspiring! Its unbelievable the quality of painting nowadays! o_o I remember 30 or so  years ago when 4-5 plain colors on a mini was quite normal and no-one had ever heard of a wash, much less blending..... lol This knight while not as flashy as some I have done is one of my favorites, the casting pose, and the way the colors all seemed to "gel" together.

Hello everyone, I have been a long time lurker, and have been enjoying this Medieval thread very much. I am a refugee from another forum and have decided the grass is greener here :). I am impressed with the standard of the work so far and hope to be able to enter the Order very soon.
Keep up the good work.

Right, I've got a Northstar commish starting now, with plenty of Vikings, so I may just get a couple more on.

Wonderful colours again Skipper, just so vibrant.

The Norman Knight - excellent grimy and realistic painting.

The "Perry Plastic" - bright and full of character.

The eye-candy in this thread, outstanding.   :o

Excellent Ray. Love the little commander - I'm sure I've done almost exactly the same figure in 28mm :)
