More fantstic work there, guys! That William the Bastard really is something special!

#114 Feudal Scots spearmen
Bringing back The Drab after all that colour from Cpt Blood and his mercenaries! These are 15mm Essex sculpts, part of an ongoing project I've got on the back burner for now...

Keep it going, chaps!

Great contributions chaps. That William the Bastard is a great figure.
Rather a lot on at work for me this week, so my offerings have stalled for a while. No doubt you will be relieved to hear!

Iain - I like drab actually. I'm just no good at painting it myself  ;)

He likes to paint them bright as it makes it easier for his poor little mince pies to focus on them.

This is my last posting as the other stuff I am working on has been started before the criteria.
One of the best Landskneckt figures ever Bravo Stephan and Paul Hicks.

Von Kluge too much rain to varnish so figure not varnished yet.

Great looking Viking!  :-*

You always have a rich warm pallet. How do you get that warm of an orange?

Thanks syrinx0

Plaka signal red with Plaka yellow added.

The trousers were supposed to be scarlet but I overdid the highlight a bit  ::)

Having trouble again with red? I'd avoid it if I were you ;)

Great work as usual. ;D

Hello Everyone,
This board convinced me to join the forum, I really enjoyed the challenge. So with out further ado, we have

No.118 Medieval Archer.

I hope this is sufficiently 'Medieval' for the Order. The coat colours are based on those of the Cheshire & Flintshire levied archers of the 1330s as illustrated by Gerry Embeton in Ospreys 'English Longbowman-1330-1515. The pictures are not that good as other peoples unfortunately. I will have to work on my photography.
Keep up the great work people!!
