Next viking. Nice sculpt, but some issues with the hands and other details. Kind of rush painting job today. Need your help here: I don't know the manufacturer, it's not Foundry, Artizan, BTD or any other of the major companies with vikings ranges. He came in a three-figures blister (looong time ago ...), all based on the same basic pose but with different heads. I added the dagger, changed the shield and got him a spear. Any idea, chaps?

No. 128 Viking warrior

Manufacturer: ???

Just in case any of you thought I had stopped painting, dropped out of the MPO challenge, or failed to post more figures because I had been kidnapped by band of pygmy headhunters,  lol here is....

No. 129 a Charging Norman Knight, figure by gripping beast with slight modifications.

Any idea, chaps?

There's something about him that strikes a cord in the back of my head... did he come with integral base or slotta-tab?
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

He looks very similar to some of the early Citadel 'Dark Ages' miniatures to me but also a bit like some of the Redoubt Vikings.

Nice sculpt, but some issues with the hands and other details.

I had some Gripping Beast Vikings with 'mitten hand' syndrome, for ease of holding the weapons and I added a little thumb with greenstuff after the spear was glued on.

More inspiring additions to the Order, gentlemen.
I am most impressed.

He does indeed look like one of the old Citadel Vikings, but he had an axe and a slotta....how much alteration did you do, Admiral?

No, definitely not Citadel. He came in a three figures pack, all have integral bases and the same basic pose.

No. 130 Wayne the Bruce (Foundry)

What a good excuse to paint something a little different.  This is a decent model from Foundry (Foot Knights pack) with a quick and easy paint job. Attaching the shield after painting each separately was rather frustrating considering that the shield peg was too short.  I ended up using a bit of greenstuff to fill the hole, then repainted the outside of the shield and covered it with the symbol.
