No.144 - Beowulf the Blurred

A North Star Viking Berserker, moving so fast he defies any form of focus (sorry).

I thought it was a motion blur camera effect  ;)  nice paintjob.

The three-headed knight is truly inspired. Love it.  :-*

@cubs Very nice paintwork, loads of character in that face.  :D

Figouze, that is a very good looking bastard! Very nice work there too Cubs.

Admiral Benbow that is one crazy, but brilliant conversion!

Captain Blood- as vibrant as ever, lovely.

Jimbibbly- love those Crusader minatures, I have a few, I must get some more sometime. All in all, a joy to view, chaps. :)

No.146 - Saxon Noble for Dux Britanniarum

Sorry for the poor quality pictures. I lack a suitable backdrop for mini photos. That said, this is the first picture I've posted of a figure I've painted since I joined the forum! Lost my painting mojo for several years, but enjoyed painting this. The figure is Aella from the excellent Musketeer Miniatures, but as I won't be using him as that particular King, I decided to give him blonde hair instead. The Matt varnish I used seems to have dulled away some of my highlights, but overall I am quite pleased with how he turned out. The base could be better I know - I'm not that great at basing. Also, my freehand designs on the shield kept going wrong, so our good noble has gone for the simple plain red design lol

I was determined to make it into the Medieval Painting Order - it's my favourite folder! Now to get on with my next two nobles and my warlord's champion...

Love that Aella figure. He's in my painting queue too. William the Bastard is also a very nice figure. Great paintwork on le cheval Figouze  :D

No. 147 - Sir Robert Montfichet

Fireforge.

You will probably be pleased to hear that I have just one more medieval figure to finish off and post this week - then I'm taking a break from medieval for a good while...
So the last 50 or so contributions will be up to you chaps, and I shall be watching from the sidelines. Bon chance!
