Largely 'Pike and Shotte' figures for a 'Creach' project yet to see the light of day.

Not the best photography, but you get the idea.

These are lovely. I gamed "Creach" using a variation on the old vendel Border Reiver rules using Rdoubt Highlanders many years ago

Funnily enough, the idea was to use those very rules.

Was it a successful transplant?

Aye worked well, I put in a bit about pipes (piper) to aid the highland charge which was a bonus . Trying to ring brain I think I Had several ranks of Clansman, Sure Tacks man was one, took it from a book on Rob Roy or some such.

Works well for the early period with black mail and other skull duggery :D

Your figures are cracking.

Thanks man.

Sounds about right. Gentlemen to the fore, Tacks men next and rabble at the back.

Maybe I will resurrect this project soon!

I have added a variation using D20 that I used to use for Renaissance Irish wars. The D20 gives more options for weapons and armour

Aye, that would be what we used for the Reivers.
Generally, I think the Highlander leaders preferred to consider themselves 'Gentlemen' lol.

I did a load of Reivers a few years ago, all Vendel figures.

All got sold though.
