« on: September 05, 2013, 03:23:02 PM »

Does anyone know the manufacturer?

Thanks in advance.

They can be used as Mongols of course, there's not much in it really  :)

look pretty much like pancakes... rounded edges have a strange look!

BTW, looking at the TAG mongols, they are really different than huns!
Even though i'm sure that some of the mongol cavalry looked exactly the same as Huns!

The Huns are wearing plundered late roman style armor. Wouldn't stop me from using them as Mongols, but they'd be serious relics  for your average 13th century Mongol. ;)

Blinis, I guess...

Didn't the Huns originate from the central asian steppes, near Mongolia, btw.?
Ask at the LAF, and answer shall thy be given!

13th Century Mongols wore armour based on Chin style once they discovered how good it was. Their initial armour would have been stiffened hide/leather. And there is a difference between Huns & Mongols but whether it can be detected on 28mm figs, I'm not sure.

That's a good point. I think the biggest noticeable difference would be the armour of different periods, as has been pointed out.
