I'd think I'd rather cut my own N00ts off then back this project after everything that's happened.

Upside-down ones if it's Spanish.

The project is now funded. Given it's its third ressurection, I'll wait a little longer to consider being or not part of it.

Just had a read through the crowdfunding page, I'm tempted as I'm in Spain, so the postage would be cheap, but then I read those fatal words, Plastic Resin :o

Anyone know what type of material they're using?

The same as this one I believe. A good one as I read from a couple of reviews: http://www.gamezoneminiatures.com/tienda/es/elfos-oscuros/1624-rgto-de-infanteria-elfos-oscuros-resina-plastica-.html

Do people still think this is too "risky" to back now that it is funded?  If so, why?

After 3 failed attempts, a shady interpretation of ip-regulations and some communication that was beyond suspicious, why should people hesitate?

+ no communication so far on the rules, at least 1 year of delay before starting to hope for a delivery, etc.. indeed, why should people hesitate ?

They haven't posted any info I can see about the rules or gameplay and they aren't a company that has, AFAIK, any experience in that realm. The core product is a game and if you have no idea what the game will be like then that seems pretty risky to me. Similar to someone posting a miniature game with no pictures of the figures.

Don't worry guys, I may grab an extra copy in English with all the perks straight to eBay just for you.
See if you can resist that then.

Pretty sure you gonna sell it. But what's your motive? The return for lending your moneys to Gamezone for a year will be close to none.

Well, if I decide to keep it I'll be saving money since the regular price after the crowfunding is going to be higher. And if I decide to sell it, I'd probably can make some money out of it (specially if there is no distribution to English speaking countries). Besides, getting an extra copy would help to get some more perks which is always good.

By the way, here you are the last update: Rotating view of the gargoyle (as a stone statue, apparently there will be another version when it turns to flesh):

Plus they have announced an add-on: a double-sided modular board.

The main board is to be double sided so what is this add-on?
