That's one use for used train tickets... 0.o

Are you going to make broken egg shells too, or would those be too difficult? Miscasts would probably do for those.

Oi and is that a power armour miscast in the background of that Deathclaw image.  :)

That Tarantula Hawk looks like you put some work into it. Really fiddly... Did you sculpt the wings yourself, as that one looks press molded? I assume you did, and just copying over a wing's surely easier than sculpting an entirely new one.

...Paladin McScale could do with a lick of paint. You've been using him as a reference for ages and to the poor guy the prospect of seeing a bit of colour's a distant hope.

And there's those table brackets right? Huh, that barricade looks great. Hmn, why didn't I think of that. How mean of you. ^^

Is that card durable, or do you just not play against people who like to take a hammer to your scenery during games? ;)

Oh, and nice cage. Maybe add a bit of razor wire or broken glass/nails/other sharp crap about the top though. I mean the raiders may have guns, but a particularly stupid player character may try and climb out of that...

Right, off with ye back to your cave now. You can come out again when you've built a Vertibird. Good work Messy. :D

The building was built using the metal you use when you're plastering a wall corner. c:

I could get some broken eggs pretty easily by just putting in a bit of resin and letting it run around the edges of the mold, but it's not something I'd want to do lots of!

I have sculpted the wing but that bit was the easy part, actually. Same story from the fly. I draw the basic shape, literally sculpt on the drawing in a flat panel and then get the detail into it. So for the next wing I'm going to draw around the outline of this one, make a few changes just so they're clearly not just the same shape and then carry on with the next pair of wings. I have a lot left to sculpt on the body and can't decide how to do the legs (It's a bit more challenging than the fly was..)

Yes, McScale should get a lick of paint. I've just spent a long, long time debating how to colour him in! I might not even want BoS troops yet! C:
The card is pretty tough. It'd not survive being squashed underhand or a beer bottle but it can be thrown about without worry. It's also easy enough to build and repair that it'd not bother me if one got crushed (and the pointy match sticks will hopefully deter clumsy-handed types)
The cage is actually mean to be the other way around, but you'd not see what was inside it that way! c: I started making it while watching series 2 of Nuka Break.

Now the closest thing I have to completion & casting is the freaky centauripede dude. c:
If you'd like an apocalyptic monster in 28mm, throw me a PM and I'll think it over.

Found some planes (Yea, a little small, but not too bad) in my local Aldi. £2.50 each? couldn't complain.
2 curtiss tomahawks, a red arrow and a spitfire.

Only built the one above and the arrow so far.

Painted up one of the scrappy versions of this thing...

And been using my expensive train tickets for terrain!

(The mutant's coming along a bit too, just needs some tweaks and some hands sculpted and he's ready for proper casting!)

Hey I found similar ones in Poundstretcher, though mine didn't have cockpits (I think, I've only looked at one of the four I bought). I've cut a wing off my own and use it as a sign for an rest stop that I had planned. So are you going to leave that plane as is, or dig it into the ground a little?

£8.50? Damn!? I'm "only" out £3.90 a day on returns. Youknow you could actually just forego taking a train for the day and come away with a load of sheets of plasticard...

Huh, I didn't realise that mutant was one of yours at first. I thought it was Vinni's for some reason. Good to see them coming along, they look like they'll give plenty of opportunities for adding on other bits. Uh, did you mess up the hands though, or replace them on the other models just for variety (that one in the back looks the image of an Chaos Spawn I made).

Ah, and have you tried using 30mm bases on those? Just going by the shoulder span I think that larger bases (even 40mm perhaps) would fit them better (though that's just based on my own habits).

The two I have built up right now are going to be left as they are, the spitfire will have both wings removed but also set so they could both be put back for the sake of decoration. The second Tomahawk will be wingless, they'll be stood up in front, holding up a big tarp for a merchant stand.

As an added bonus, I have a 10-hour day out and get paid for 5 and a half!
Eh, the old ladies love me and the carers I work with are 90% gorgeous.

I haven't actually sculpted any, yet. On the green guy I just got one half-done as a quick test for the sake of his sledge and lazily amputated the other in place of a strapped-on blade.
Likewise, one of the blue-meanies has genestealer hands (and a few other odd parts to look like he's an only-just-failed FEV mutant.
The spawn guy just has a chaos mutant bit stuck on - his hands are from a dino toy I once found in the hopes of making an easy deathclaw.
About 3 months before I started to sculpt that dragon instead..
I'll be using them as failures for a freakish vault in the campaign I hope some day to run..

I lack larger bases so I used what I had. c: I have some 40mm, but they're all needed for more important things than a test-mutant.

I love how this mutant looks small compared to a 28mm figure when he's on his own.. Yet the second you add another mutant beside him, they instantly look like a brick-fucking-wall.

Oh and;

Messaging me through the forum for now. Paypal/ address exchange and then I find the time to post things.
I aim to put a site together once I have a few figures to sell, currently only two. >.< (though one of those two will now feature eggs!)

..
I was thinking the fly, but I STILL need to create a larger mold/ more molds for that to produce enough to be worthwhile..

Ah, yeah. You hadn't mentioned that you were making those available here yet silly (or I just missed it). ;)

...So if they are available, even in limited quantities, what're the chances of sending some my way? *counts out pocket money

I have 6 left over from the original run (I've had two molds for it, the first one had an issue but the figures are visibly fine)
Before I get casting them again, I'm keen on redoing the legs. You'll see why.

Only if you send a really nice PM explaining how you want to pay me lots and lots of monies.
 lol

I already forgot what my plan was for them £££-wise. Oh, the bodies have some little guide-points for where you could drill in for wire legs. Much easier than the little legs I sculpted for them.

I have not been very productive for ever. c:

Getting the baby dragon ready for a mold, working on bits for the mutant soldiers, making random terrain and playing A LOT of State of Decay.
