Cheers for all the replies chaps.  Feels like ages since I broke out the brushes, but at least now I have something to get stuck into.

All the blokes are from Under Fire. I picked up a couple of packs of the ZANLA guerrillas, plus Selous Scouts pack 1.
I swapped a few heads & legs around, and made some green stuff webbing.





The ones I thought looked the part for Cubans were a couple of the Selous Scouts, one with a head swap for a Russian helmet and a couple from a ZANLA pack with another head swap.
