Those are NICE. I particularly like the two on the far right. Hummer and some kind of future car?

Picked up @ a recent toy/train fair, for the princely sum of £10:-

For use with UNIT for Dr Who and anything else I can think of. The SPV is gonna get converted, not sure how but I'm thinking about it........ :)
All need a repaint and maybe some improving. :)

That's a Spectrum Pursuit Vehicle from Captain Scarlet and the Mysterons (original puppet version, not the CGI remake).
Back from the dead, almost.

Good good  :D
they're pretty easy to disassemble for painting
If you're adding pilots (ebob dollies) and painting the cockpit, you want Verdigris Glaze 832 from vallejo, just add several layers to get that nice russian cockpit feel :D

Not sure yet - for Battlefield I guess seeing the crew would be better - normally I paint the windshield....

After seeing Grimm's excellent, excellent Chinese Warlord set up closeup and personal @Glam I have sort of made a strategic decision for myself to, if at all possible, primarily use diecast vehicles in the future. The reasons are several:

1) diecasts are heavy
2) they are robust
3) most often cheaper
4) comes in a gazillion choices

Drawbacks may be:
1) they often roll unless you lock the wheel axle somehow
2) they are a bit difficult to strip
3) aluminum is a bit tricky to prime, paint and weather
4) scales are often a bit off

So, said and done, I have  ordered the following just recently:

From China, a 1931 A Ford sedan for my Sven Hedin expedition:

For my RCW Boshies, a AMO F-15:

This last item was a bit  of a find @ $5 plus P&P from the US. I was quite shocked to see the collectors market for old Soviet made diecasts. Asking prices for these items easily reach $60-$100 or above.

A Bradley and T-90 from Imprint Models - more for the BF:BC2 buildup.

I must say, I am very surprised at how sharp the resin is - very high quality castings, would recommend them to anyone!
