Cavemen meet Gigantopithecus
« on: 31 October 2013, 02:01:19 PM »
This Gigantopithecus was excavated from the bottom of a box of plastic toys at a local flea market at 20ct a piece.  ;)
Originally it had a smooth shiny black surface.
Used some rough sandpaper on it to provide some kind of fur structures and painted it in brownish colours.

Too old to Rock'n'Roll, too young to die, perfect for tabletop adventures;)

Lovely repurposing.  The diorama looks great together as well.
This is my boomstick!

Interesting diorama.  It's amazing what you can find for cheap at flea markets!   :)
