(KICKSTARTER) Battle System Sci-fi Modular Terrain

I keep coming back to this )even though I originally dismissed it), thinking that although I would prefer to make my own sci-fi table when will I actually get round to it? In terms of gaming it may actually save a stalled project that risks being sold off! The reports from the AVP gaming day held by Prodos last weekend seem to rate it quite favourably.  What to do

those are my thoughts exactly...I don't even have time to complete the Fantasy terrain that I want to have...so the idea of an "out of the box" Sci-Fi table at a reasonable price seems like a great idea to me.  I'm only in at the 1 pound level now but will be upping to a stronghold and some extra floor tiles and walls.

The thing that puts me off is the relatively small size; £78 for a 2x2' table.

I like the stuff I really do. My concerns are:

It's quite a lot of cash for a small set up (I'd planned on a 4'x4' set up). I could probably only afford a 2'x2' with perhaps a few extra floor tiles.

I have a load of resin sci-fi terrain from Ainsty's brilliant sale from this time last year and I'm uncertain of how it would look with the cardboard furniture, etc. I.e. would it jar visually?

I really planned on making my own from mdf tiles and foamboard.

The pros as I see them are:

It's a terrain set up that is totally modular; you can have
a different set up every time you play.

You can use it right out of the box. It could take me years to get around to building my own and finishing it!

You can take it apart and store it really easily unlike something I would build myself.

So I'm still somewhat on the fence!

Yep, same concerns here.

Have a lot of sci fi terrain. Figure I can repaint a lot of it so it fits in.

The "use it right out of the box" and store it easily is what swung it for me.

I also got the add-on of 3 more floor tiles.

I finally uped to the stronghold and will. Retain oh do
Some add one in the pledge survey...possibly adding a hulk or at least more
Floor tiles and the med bay etc.

My rationale has everything with one of your final points.  I have more fantasy terrain to build for my principal obsession project...that I'll pretty much never get it all finished ...plus I want to do some small scale Sci fi skirmish in the mean time...so this is a no brainer for me...plus I'm starting from scratch so no other terrain to match.

As to size.  They only seem to show square set ups in there photos and vids....I think a stronghold plus add ons could make an excellent long thin corridor with a couple of big rooms...some or which have a second story component.

The stuff in the website is downloadable....the KS is pre printed in thick card.  The two ranges are comparable in size and scale but not in finish....if that makes sense...?!

At the last minute (with 6 hours to go) they are adding outside "bunker walls!"

Appears the bunker walls will be unlocked at $200,000 and be an add-on.

These folks have run a really good KS.
