I missd rust on his sword
It never rains in California -
and it doesn't rain in the savannas or deserts of Africa (maybe once in 50 years) - so there couldn't be a lot of rust but I really agree it looks better (suiting a zombie more) when the weapons are aged!
Nevertheless THEY LOOK GREAT
and really hit the point. The skin color is excellent (thank god not the barf green of the usual zombies
) - the only critical comment I have here (although I couldn't find a suitable solution myself when painting these minis
) is the red flesh showing in spots where the skin's been eaten away.
Imagine they have been lying in the desert for years and been dried out (therefore the bones could have a minimal highlight of bleached bone - as dried bones are nearly white) like pemikan (but what color has pemikan to show the difference between dried skin and dried flesh?
?
: on the models)
THANKS for the first minis I've done being painted THAT way !
Perhaps now people can imagine better how they could look like!
